Black Box Algorithms

We provide two types of black box algorithm.

• A finder searches for a pair of standard generators in a group.
• A checker checks whether two given elements of a group are a pair of standard generators.

We have provided checkers for all groups except ³D₄(3). For those groups where standard generators are defined in this thesis (marked with an asterisk `*' below) we have provided a finder as well.
